When using CCE OPV, does "Matrix For Extras" get used?

I have selected a different matrix by going to: Options / Advanced (Expert) Options / Quantization Matrices / Matrix for Extras

Will this work when using CCE OPV and the movie I am encoding contains extras? Will the specified "Matrix For Extras" be used for all VTSs with sizes smaller than the main feature?

Also, am I correct in assuming that the "Low Bitrate" and "Very Low Bitrate" matrices settings do not work for CCE OPV?

Thanks in advance for the help.

I am not 100% sure, but from the DVDRB 1.25 changes.txt I understand that the "Main Feature Matrix" will be used for all titles, i.e. including the Extras.

- Updated OPV processing to allow an alternate matrix.
Now OPV will use the specified as "Main Feature Matrix." In
OPV the matrix will not change based upon bitrate -- as
it is necessary for predictions to be made using a single
matrix and quantizer/Q value.

You can however select individual matrices for each VOB-ID with RB-OPT "CCE settings", for mutipass as well as for OPV. Don't forget to "Save Settings" before "Exit".

You may doublecheck the matrix allocation by opening the rebuilder.ecl with a text editor before starting the encoding.
