I ripped my Planet Earth boxset to my HDD yesterday, and I've since been trying to get smooth playback. It's extremely choppy, but I do get video and audio. I'm on a Dell Inspiron 6400 (don't laugh!). Obviously I can't play movies at 1080p resolution, but i can play other ripped HD DVD's flawlessly, like the Matrix. So I'm wondering,
1) is there a way to use both cores in playback via PowerDVD?
2) do .xpl files have anything to do with this?
