I just gave myself a headache trying to clarify RB requirements for (at least) Avisynth and DGDecode.dll. I needed to do this because sometime back I installed something that "updated" my Avisynth installation. Needless to say as an RB Pro devotee I wanted to make sure I got everything back to where it belonged.

Suggesting a list be located somewhere here; maybe it's as simple as?...

Avisynth 2.5.6a (located in C:\Program Files\AviSynth 2.5)
DGDecode 1.4.5 (not the Avisynth dir but rather the one in C:\Program Files\DVD-RB PRO)

Maybe these are the only 3rd party essentials? DVD-RB Pro doesn't use DGIndex i.e. the DGIndex/DGDecode pairing?

Yes it's that simple. Or DGDecode 1.10.

No, it doesn't use DGIndex.

Those tools, RB itself, and something to rip the DVD with, is all you need. Those requirements are listed in the help file if you need them for future reference.

Actually, you can use NaN's DGDecode 1.1.1.

For the record, I'm using Avisynth 2.5.7 without any problems.

Those requirements are listed in the help file if you need them for future reference.Actually they aren't, at least "Avisynth 2.5 or better" and "DGDecode.dll 1.1.0" as listed in the Help file are different from what RB-Pro installs, therefore don't inspire confidence...

Still, I'm glad to know the DGDecode.dll stands alone with RB Pro and is irrelevant to my DGIndex installation, thanks...

Nan's DGDecode 1.1.1 causes audio sync problems when doing mobile encoding.
