Hi. I have a question which is a little different from the usual.
I have a XvD movie which contains MP3 VBR audio.
If played on my PC the file is perfectly in-sync.
If played on my DivX reader capable to read DivX and XviD movies the audio is a little off-sync from the video (that is: the audio is always heared a little later than what it should be).
Considering that the AVI movie is perfectly in-sync and I didn't do anything to it, my question is: can this problem be solved, and how? I was wondering if this problem is known.

Should I try to get newer firmware from that DVD player?

Or maybe, is this an issue caused by the occurrence of XviD plus VBR audio only (so, re-encoding CBR the audio and substituing it could be solve this problem)?

Thanks for any help. and please move this post if this isn't the most proper place for it.

try using MP3Repacker (http://www.hydrogenaudio.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=32379) to losslessly convert your VBR mp3 audio to CBR
