is problem nero or shrink? [Archive]

In the past i`ve not had problems with nero 6 burning back up dvd`s direct from "dvd shrink" whilst on windows 2000 pro.However my hard drive went mad and had to get a new one and now have windows XP.Problem now is when nero attempts to burn dvd ,I get a compliance failed message,coupled with two notes saying iso,bup not present even though when i explore the file they are?Also when I have burned dvd as a dvd data disc ,the message pops up saying that disc may not be recgnisable in other players,and true enough the new dvd disc will not play on computer or domestic dvd player.

any ideas
