Enhancements include:

- Now can save multiple jobs and run them later (batch processing)
- Message box pops up briefly before controlling FairUse and Nandub to warn user to stop using keyboard and mouse (can be disabled in "madrona.ini")
- Updated DivX codec installer and Lame versions
- Changed default Lame parameters to "--alt-preset 96"
- Added minimize button
- Added feature to delete intermediate files when they are no longer necessary
- Added HTML Help file
- Now writes complete settings to "madrona.ini" when Madrona opens, rather than the first time settings are used
- Can browse to FairUse project file instead of folder

If someone uses this successfully on WinME or WinXP, please let me know!

I've only used it once so far, but Madrona 1.3 seems to work just fine under Windows XP!

I'm going to do some further testing as i "backup my dvd collection", I'll let you know how it goes in a week or so.

Great! Thanks for letting me know it works on WindowsXP. I'll add that to the list of "tested" OS's.

Well, as I said, I did some more testing, and it seems Madrona does not work all that well on XP.

3 out of 4 times I've used it now, it will crash right after fairuse finishes encoding. Actually, it is fairuse that crashes, not madrona. perhaps fairuse doesnt like to be controlled.

at any rate, yes, it's crashed 3/4 times on the cross-cutting screen. if you want more info let me know.

Aren't you risking sync problems by downsampling to 32KHz? I think "--alt-preset 96 --resample 48" might be a better Lame command. Lame resamples to 44.1 when bitrate < 127 and to 32 when bitrate < 97.

Alku83, I suggest going into the madrona.ini file and changing the crosscut wait value in the Fair Use section to a large value, say 60 or more (seconds). Try again and see what happens. Maybe the default value is too small.

Elgan123, please change the Lame parameters to whatever you like. They're in madrona.ini.
