ati hdtv wonder - scheduler not working

i don't know much about tuners, let alone this one. i can't seem to get the scheduler to work for recording tv programs. i schedule a recording, and it just doesn't work. i manually press record and set duration, and it works fine. but scheduler will not work. atisched is running in the background. not sure what else needs to be running for scheduled recording to kick in

If you're using it to capture ATSC, might I suggest a different program? WatchHDTV (http://watchhdtv.net/program.aspx) works really nicely. It's freeware and while it's not exactly visually appealing, it just does its job really well, period. I especially like the silent-record option. It records the stream directly into the hard drive and uses only 3-5% CPU. Quite useful when you just need to record for future viewing. The developer's really nice, too, and he's open to feature requests (within reason). Just head to the WatchHDTV thread on the AVS forum.
