Hello fellas, Im capturing ingame footage from COD2 at half my screen resolution which ends up being 720x450 (widescreen). I realize this isnt a mod16 rez so my first question is what should i resize/crop it down to. Secondly, this is strictly for computer viewing purposes only so to be a noob i have to ask, should i do target quant 1 pass or target bitrate 1 pass / 2 pass. If I want the max quality with lowest file size (theoretically), is target quant better? If so, is there any settings you guys suggest? thanks kindly

720x448 looks like a good idea - just two pixel rows less.

Either two passes or one pass target quant. The difference is that with two passes you set your resulting file size and it's known, while single-pass quant will give you unknown filesize.

If the exact file size is irrelevant, use single-pass target quant. Use quant of about 3-4, whatever your quality/size tradeoff is.
