Repair broken WMV tracking?

I have a couple of WMVs that will play, but won't skip ahead when I try to use the bar at the bottom of the player. Is there any way to repair them?

Hi!

1) What players have you tried? Do they all yield the same problematic result?

2) What software and procedures did you use when you originally created the .WMVs?

3) Did you establish any keyframes/indexing?

4) Load the file into GSpot and post a screen capture back here

I had the same problem. Setting it to seekable didn't help.
Try the following:
Install Windows Media Encoder 9. Use Windows Media Stream Editor . It fixed my problem.
