variable framrate bug?

I tried both DivX and xvid, and havent gotten past the encoding becuse it keeps telling me that the movie is in a variable frame rate. Please help, fis there anything I can do/

Anyways, It = DVD - Video_TS.IFO

Im triing to get a single file that contains menus and content in a very easy and high quality method. DivX doesnt do very much, very well so I am triing Xvid.

imho, very easy method never lead to high quality. but pretty easy method do exist.
u should read the guides by doom9 (http://www.doom9.org/index.html?/xvid-guides.htm), it's a good start for a newbie.
