I'm trying to encode an audio book, and I've been looking around for the best way to do it. With some of the chapters spanning multiple CDs, I decided to rip them as WAV first, then merge and encode them. After merging the parts of the chapter into one WAV file, I noticed popping noises where the tracks are merged. I used BeSweet to merge them using the command
BeSweet.exe -core( -input Chapter1.lst -output Chapter1.wav -payload -logfilea ChapterMerge.log ) -ota( -fs 44100 )
Has anyone else had this problem? If so, what can I do to get rid of the popping noises between the merged tracks? Thanks for the help.
