Ok I have looked and still haven’t found the answer. I have been trying to encode my dvd collection (I want to encode them to avi so I can store them on my NAS drive then play them on my TV via an ip media player) to avi however I am having audio issues. The issue I am having is either the audio starts in sync with the video but by the end it is out of sync, OR it is choppy.

I am sure this has been covered before, but I have yet to find the thread. If you can just point me to the thread that deals with this I would be appreciative.

And as it will be asked
Title: Caddy shack, Shrek (the first), Pure country, knights tale, basicly all my dvds
Country code: US as far as I can tell.
Ripping software DVDx

Thanks

Hi!

Try using AutoGK or (my personal favorite) MPEG Mediator to convert to .AVI...

Something like this happened to me when I tried encoding Unforgiven. Whenever you make your selection (like in DGIndex) make sure it's while the movie is playing and don't include any of the warning screens or picture company logos before it. Worth a try o_O

Update:

AutoGk seems to be working well. Only having trouble with my stargate sg1 collection. something about either source format not compatable or to many frames..
