Ok, I'm not sure exactly where to put this question so mods plz feel free to move it to the proper section. My newb question is that I have several Non anamorphic DVD's that I use on my Toshiba HD-A2 HD DVD player. Now the HD player doesn't have a proper zoom function for cropping non anamorphic DVD's and my Panny plasma has a crappy zoom function too. I would like to know if there is a guide or a program to use (guide for how to operate would be helpful too) to take a rip of the DVD, and then somehow edit out the Black bars that were encoded into the letterboxed DVD and create a "anamorphic" transfer. I know I'll loose the lines of Res but it's easier than using the crappy zoom functions I have now or seeing the 4 black bars.
