xvid with gmc option on or off

i am new to the ripping world but it all started when i bought a media gate 350 which is supposed to be able to handle preety much every single video format out there. so i transfer all m files to the unit and nothin seemes to work so i read the side of the box and find this "not support xvid with gmc option applied".

ok, is there a simple tool i can dload to change that gmc option or do i have to convert the video format totally?

someone please enlighten

please keep in mind i am yet to rip anything myself and that the original file was well are all torrents. so yea any help wil do
