Any way to get TMPGEnc to read .mkv?

In another post I saw you have to go to options and preference and allow it. But I can't see the avisynth in there, I have avisynth installed but don't know if I need to download a plugin for TMPGEnc . Thanks

the easiest way is to download regdrop, drag the ax file onto regdrop

ok now is there a way to get dts files into TMPGEnc 4, or do I have to use another program to convert? Noob here sorry

No.
You could author with the dts, if you use a authoring program that can, like dvd-lab or ifoedit.
You need at least one stream of dolby audio to be completely dvd spec though. You could convert dts to dolby.
