dvd audio disk play menu

I haven't seen any discussion of dvd audio. I have some projects that involve producing dvd audio disks. I have my audio ready to go, the background images that I intend to have on the disk, and all of that. I would like to know how to create the play menu that shows a list of tracks that allows you to scroll down the list, select the track to play, and the track will play and the track list is still on the screen. I have used an authoring program that is easy to use and seems to have all that I require, but after you select a track to play(scroll down list, highlight desired track, hit enter), the menu changes. The screen then goes to whatever background image was select in the authoring process, text shows the track that is playing, and the track plays. To get back to the main track list, you have to press menu, which stops the current selected track. I would like to just "select, play and scroll up down the list" like the production dvd audio disks.
