Sorry to bother everyone but, if someone could point me in the right direction the help would be appriciated. I've been useing RIp it for me for a long time with dvd decrypter, dvd shrink, and fix disk. They have worked great for backing up me collection untill lately.it usually only takes 25 to 30 min to back up a movie as an ISO file. As of late it takes a few hours just for the movie no menus. I have an AMD doron 750 MHz with 384 mb of ram. Do I need a new hardware situp or can I get better software for my newer movies?

Thanks chevyvanman@peoplepc.com

Hi!

It sounds like your drive(s) may have converted from (fast) DMA mode to (slow) PIO mode. If this is the case (Check via the Control Panel>>System>>Hardware>>Device Manager>>"IDE...Controllers"),

In the Device Manager (via the Control Panel>>System>>Hardware>>Device Manager), you simply have to remove the applicable IDE channel (Click on "IDE...Controllers") and let your computer reset it to DMA as follows:
Right click on the pertinent channel in Device Manager
Click on uninstall
Reboot
After rebooting go back to Device Manager and change the setting to "DMA if available"...

Post back here when you've had a chance to try it out with blank media...
