Does AviDemux work under Win 98 SE ?

It depends on how it's compiled, but there's nothing intrinsically stopping it. GTK and QT both work on 98. I haven't been able to personally try it, however.

The easiest way to find out, is to give it a try under Win98 ;)

BTW: Which machine is still running Win98 nowadays and has enough CPU power for Video Encoding?
