View Full Version : Scenarist running forever

Hi,

I'm using dif4u, scenaid, cce, batchccews, scenarist for my backup. My DVD has 10 subtitles on it and I kept them all. Now everything is running fine, and scenarist is working as we speak. But... it has been for the past 4 hours already. Can I expect scenarist to finish it sometime, or is it just hanging doing nothing anymore ? my ScenAid30.scn file is 47,8MB in size.

I know the more subtitles the longer scenarist will take, but I don't think 10 subtitles is a lot to handle for scenarist ?

I went out last night and let scenarist do it's thing, when I got back home a few hours later I had some kind of access violation on the screen...

So I guess 10 subtitles is something scenarist can't handle.

Yeah, Scenarist takes forever to import subtitles. Perhaps give Muxman a shot?

I don't know if D3s7 will ever release a Scenaid with the Muxman feature as a free option though. I think he said he would but is likely sidetracked with other stuff now as I don't think he has posted in a while.

muxman is definately much faster with subs....scenarist can take forever.

I'll give it a try tonight.
Last time I tried a disc with a lot of subtitles (24 languages) both scenarist and muxman froze on it.

Now I have only 10 subtitles so it might work this time.

if muxman also freezes there must be some kind of problem. Usually muxman is really, really fast (because it usesthe .sub files)
