SYS: 3 GHz, 2 GB RAM, 2 SATA 500 and 2 500 GB EIDE HD’s, a 256 ram video card, sound card.
I want to set up this box for as a jukebox.

If you eliminate the .IFOs and .BUPs, unless, for each of your DVDs, you join all of the related .VOBs of one DVD (e.g. VTS_01_1, VTS__01_2, VTS_01_3, etc.) as ONE .VOB, Windows Media Player will NOT be able to automatically play the entire DVD sequentially...

Computer Jukebox :

Using the hardware above and some good cables, to a 47” Samsung LCD TV.
Use DVD Decryptor, to rip to my HD.
Use FixVTS if I have to.
Use DVD Shrink to save the full movie.
Burn a full copy DVD–R with Nero7
Use DVD Shrink Re-author to edit to minimum size, by cutting menus, etc.
I merge all the VOB files into one file.
I delete everything except the VOB in the Folder!
I highlight the VOB and make a Windows Shortcut.
The Shortcut goes to a simple list of movie shortcuts.
Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
