dif4u mangles subtitles problem

ive had the same problem on a few titles now, where the subtitles that dif4u rips are all mangled.. it probably has been answered before, but ive searched the forms like crazy and cant find anything specific to what im having, and anything that seems remotely plausible doesnt work...

anyone have any ideas?
