I got this error message and it had me totally confused. Checked the spelling several times, because I've typed it wrong before (lanzcos4resize) but it was correct. And opening old scripts I'd made some time ago that used tow ork no longer worked.

Finally checked the avisynth.dll in windows/system32, and it was version 2.5.2.0! I know I was using 2.5.7 before. Something had replaced the dll with an older version without me knowing. What could have done that? (I know i installed SUPER to convert some video to 3gp for a mobile phone, could that be it?)

Yes, but SUPER will normally install 2.5.6 (along with a load of other hidden/system codecs in system32), so it's a little odd that it would be that old.

I think it was this DVD2DVDR program that was the culprit.
