adding new scene to the video

how could i add new scene ( like intro or credit ) to an avi video using VirtualDub

Hi!

Make certain that the "new scene" is IDENTICAL in both video and audio settings/format to the primary .AVI.


Joining two .AVIs can be accomplished in VirtualDub (or any of its variants) by simply:

1) Loading the first file and then, from the "File" dropdown menu selecting "Append .AVI segment" and loading the second file.

2) Set BOTH "Video" and "Audio" to "Direct Stream Copy"

3) Save with a new filename

but let me say i want to add new empty frame/frames , how to do that?

i want it to be overlaid by a picture containing title or credits using logo filter.

You may be able to use AVIEdit to create what you want...
