I just updated from 3.0.9.6 to 3.1.1.2 and tried to back up Dead Like Me Sesson 1 Disk 1 Region 1. It stated it completed the copy succesfully, but when I tried to use DVDshirk, it gave me an error of Invalid Datat in file c:/Dead_Like_Me_S1D1 VTS_6_1.VOB. It also locked up Nero Recode after it did the inital anyalis of the disk. Luckly I had a copy of 3.0.9.6 that I reinstalled, and all worked 100% except Nero, still had the error as it would not see it as a new backup. Also DVD Decriptor worked fine on this DVD. Any clues?
One last question.. where can I find the logs to get rid of the DVD's Nero says I already processed?
Thanks in advance

Hi Digenes,
Please send us all the .IFO files on Original disc, then we will check the problem.
A recommended way is listed below:
1) Open an Explorer window, and navigate to VIDEO_TS folder of the DVD.
2) Copy all files ending with .IFO to hard disk.
3) ZIP the IFO files on hard disk to one file. Name it with a readable filename, like Stealth_UK.zip.
4) Send the zip file to fengtao(at)dvdidle.com, you need replace (at) with @.
Best Regards,
Fengtao

Hi!
Search your harddrive for "NeroHistory.log"...

Can I ask why use shrink at all as DVDFab is 1 clicker and will do it/should do it all..including burning it....and if you must than use Fixvts first...just trying to help is all........

Maybe the OP is just using the freeware version of DVDFab, not the gold or platinimum editions that are one click apps.

Maybe the OP should have stated DVDFab Decrypter and not DVDFab, as in thread title, if that is the case......

At this stage, it doesn't really make a difference - "Digenes" is already dealing directly with the publisher, "fengtao", who should, perhaps, be faulted for having SEVERAL similarly named products which, by the way, are also similar to the ORIGINAL older freeware program "DVDFab"...

We don't see fengtao much around the forums, i just wanted thank him for the only free application that bypasses the new encryptions. i'm a work from the HD guy and though i have anydvd, i only use fabdecrypter. thanks again fengtao.

@shrink0
The "ORIGINAL older freeware program 'DVDFab'" that I spoke of is an entirely different program. To see it, go to:

Afternoon all.
I really don't need to post this, nor explain anything but I will just to settle a few things. Yes maybe I should have said I was using the free version but didn't so be it. Maybe I should use the gold or platinimum editions but don't.
I really shouldn't have to explain any of this, but I will for setarip_old and Fengtao seeing as they are the only two who had the common courtesy not to pre-judge but to answer the questions I had.
I am a 20year 100% disabled vet, and as such live on a very fixed income budget. Being so when ever possible I will use the free versions of the programs to help out even though, I may have to take one or more steps to complete the task at hand. So before you become rude and judge why someone does what they do, I highly suggest that you understand why it is they are doing what it is they are doing.
Oh and unlike some, I don't buy DVD every day, but only on the rare occassion, so don't have the need for the one click cure all to backup a shit load of DVD's What I have suits my purpose quite well.

Thank you for your honesty. Indeed, you know what suits you best! There is no need to pay for something you can get for free. Thank you goes also to Fengtao!
