NDAAC - recommended settings

I use BeHappy to convert a 2ch AC3 file (384kbit/s) from a DVB stream (live concert) to AAC audio.

NDAAC is pre-set to VBR Q=0.3. Is this a standard value or even something better already? What settings should i use for HQ output? What is overkill?

For HQ, you mean High Quality ? If yes, Q=0.4/0.5 should be fine...Depends always on your side.
