I've been having problems trying to figure out how to use yatta, so I've decided to take it one step at a time. Following the Yatta users guide I am instructed to use the YMC first before even opening Yatta, so that is where I must start.

What exactly is the YMC used for? I understand how to load a d2v file in the YMC, but then after that I'm not exactly sure what I'm doing. I'm presented with a several check boxes in the Metric Collection and according to the manual I have to do telecide first, but from the looks of it I can't come back to YMC once I create a .yap file. So I'm lost...

I'm not really looking for anything detailed, just a brief overview of what YMC is used for. Once I understand what I'm actually trying to accomplish with YMC then I can look up the rest...or at least I think I can. :P

Thanks!

Try asking #darkhold on irc.deltaanime.net, or the zhentarim divx forums: http://forum.zhentarim.net/index.php?board=3.0

....hmmm...a yatta forum. Ok, that'll work :P thanks :)

grrr....I guess I could try the irc channel, but I hate those stupid places, it's always so crowded with people that don't know what they're doing (like me) and it's just a mess. Then again it would probably be better, i could get real time answers to my questions. I'll give it a shot
