PAL ---> NTSC DVD9 deinterlacing

I have a DVD9. It is interlaced and definitely PAL to NTSC converted. Is there any way I can deinterlace a DVD9 (IVTC process) to a DVD9 format again? Then from the de-interlaced DVD9 I will do CCEing...via DVD-RB.

I would like to use the LeakKernelBob & Repal filters on it...

I opened a .vob file in DGIndex, and it said it was Interlaced, NTSC. Many Bollywood films are shot on film, recorded in PAL format. Then when the DVDs are released here in the US, we use NTSC, and therefore they are converted. For the movie in question, I sent out an email to the Releasing Company that verified this.

Movie: Mujhse Dosti Karoge!, 2002, region free DVD
Releasing company: YashRaj Films - home entertainment division

Now i wish to make a backup DVD5 without it being so heavily interlaced, and since I do CCEs through DVD-RB, I have absolutely NO idea how to IVTC this in that client. therefore, this thread...

You can't. Unblending it (not IVTCing) will change the framerate and DVD-RB won't react well.

Use the RePAL filter and do it manually.
