Ok so I got the new hard drives in...and I used Dvd Decrypter and VOB2MPG to rip seasons 1 & 2 of spongebob and turn them into Mpeg2 format....moved the My Videos folder to one of the drives...and added them to the MP11 library...

The problem is..the 360 sees the seperate My Videos folders but not the Mpeg2 files inside..I know its supposed to be capable of streaming Mpeg2's and MP11 plays them just fine...Is it because theyre on a seperate drive than the c: drive or do I need to transcde them to a different format...I used Mpeg2 because it was the fastest to encode to from VOB...

I realy dont want to wait 45mins-1 hour to transcode into another format if i dont have to...

VOB IS MPEG-2 :)

You probably just remuxed the VOBs into an MPG container.

I'm not sure the 360 can stream MPEG-2, though I could be wrong. AFAIK, it wants Windows Media (WMV).

the 360 can do mpeg2 .ts files so I think it can handle mpeg2
