I've get quite a few captures of a series i'm trying to fix up a bit, the problem is they are of varying quality. They are all bad, so i've given up on any hope of getting really good quality and i am focusing on just removing the really bad parts.
Mostly this is ok, but on a few episodes, the combing resulting from capturing an interlaced source to progressive material i presume, is really course. I mean that it is there on all episodes, but on most the combing is really fine. I've put up a screenshot to illustrate it.
Currently i'm using fielddeinterlace, but it is not working for these (it works fine for the others). All i want is for the combing to blend, creating ghosts, which i think is much easier on the eye and the best i can hope for. Which filter could help me out?
