How do you compress into mpeg4

Hi all, I'm a noob at this... Maybe this is something you all know, but I am really clueles. How do I compress into mpeg4? I can do mpeg1, but that compression sucks. Anyone?

ok... don't be such an ass... I looked.. and I don't see anywhere in that guide the acronym "MPEG-4" so back off.

DivX is MPEG4, so look in the guide section again under DivX.

Just out of spite, if you look on the guides DivX page:

DivX Encoding

There's two kinds of DivX codec now: DivX3.x which is the more well known and has been around for a while. It's also known as DivX ;-) and is basically a hacked version of Microsoft's MPEG-4 v3 codec. The other DivX codec is DivX4, by DivXnetworks, a completely new codec which delivers the same quality but is a fully legitimate solution and offers 2 pass VBR encoding out of the box.

Oh yeah.. MPEG4 :rolleyes:.

well, seeing as I was looking for Mpeg-4... Why would I look under DivX in the first place?
