Hi

I used AVI Recomp to do hardsub and have been using it for quite a while. I am now encoutering a problem for certain episodes of a drama. When I preview at AVI Recomp, it says Avisynth open failure, Avisource cannot decompress frame 0.

Can anyone tell me how to solve this problem?

And if you open the original source .AVI file directly in VirtualDub what error do you see? (AviSource uses mostly code from virtualdubs avi reader).

Also you could try DirectShowSource.

Sorry about that. I thought the Q&A is everything related to Avisynth.

Its so complicated and confusing. Anyway I will just find other sources to do the hardsub.
