Hello everybody

Does someone know if it's possible to make a BivX with 2 ac3 audio streams only ?

This question 'cause i've tried all this day and every time i get this error under PowerDivx Ng (v3.12)when i switch to my 2nd audio stream:

"Executive Error 380 ; Bad property value"

This is what i've done:

1. rip with smartripper. I've used the option "Demux to extra files" to obtain directly ac3 audio files.

2. Video (soundless) encoding using flask (sorry ...)
3. Multiplexing using, first, AVImux but as it didn't worked, i've tried Nandub.

I've read Doom9's guides and followed the instruction. The multiplexing works well (under nandub), the first audio stream is OK under PowerDivx NG (the video too) but when i try to switch to the 2nd audio stream i get this f*** error.

HELPPPPPPPPPPPP please ! I'm fed up working all the day and still getting stuck by an error i can't figured out.

Thanx

Try using Gknot as it does most of the work for you.

Have you tried another player like bsplayer for example? Avis with 2 ac3 tracks are definitely possible, I've personally done this. I can't comment on PowerDivxNG though, as this player is unfortunately not working on my machine.

What values did you use for interleaving?

Hello Sibe,

here are the values for interleaving:

preload -> 160
interleave every -> 96 ms

and it works well !

Could you make me a quick guide about multiplexing 2 ac3 streams using either nandub or AVIMux ; I think it will help me a bit ...

Thanx for having answered

Have you read this: http://www.doom9.org/divx__ac3.htm ?

Just do the same for the secondary audio track.

But you already said:
The multiplexing works well (under nandub)

so this shouldn't be the problem. I really suggest you try to play your file in bsplayer.

Hello Sibe,

I've tried under BSplayer and all is well. I can play the BivX in french or in english depending on what i put after the option -as on command line.

So it is a PowerDivX NG problem and not a multiplexing pb and i really would like to know why ! I've posted some questions on BlackSun'forum but there're no answers yet.

Maybe the solution deals with all the filters u can customize in PowerDivx NG.

Thanx for helping

A bivx is a divx movie with 2 different audio tracks (2 languages) directly in the avi file.
