Have you got the old DivX 3.11alpha codec installed?

either you need the old DivX3.11 Installer which comes with hacked Windows Media Codecs or if this doesn't help try a different player. E.g. PowerDivX NextGen

Thx for the answers =) I have the newest DivX codec installed and I chosed under installation that it would work on all older divx movies as well. I tried Windows XP Mediaplayer, ZoomPlayer, PowerDVD 4.0 but no one will work.

divx4 simply won't do here.. the file you got uses a ms codec which is included in divx3, but not divx4. normally you don't use it because it's crap and windows can play mp3 by default so installing divx4 will give you no problem with most movies.

Thanks for the answer ! I just have to reinstall Divx codec 4.0 and the old 3.11 then it will probably work .
