I want to record a DVB-T channel using a WinTV Nova-T-500 and I cannot find what to use. I have attempted to install the SoftPVR but it refuses to install, claiming that there is no compatible hardware installed. I can watch the TV with the awful hauppauge software but that is all.

I have attempted to get the Leadtek Winfast software working and although it runs, it will not find any channels. That is after using the registry patch to get it to work with hauppauge cards.

All attempts to get GB-PVR working have failed with two TV cards (Leadtek DVT1000 and Nova-T-500), it crashes with a divide by zero error whenever I goto the Live TV section.

So I am stuck, really needed to find something that works but not having any luck.

So can anyone help me get something working? I need something that can record the full transport stream.

Webscheduler, the free version (v4)? This records only though, no live TV watching. Great program though.

Thanks, will check it out.

Something to view and record would be nice. I did read that it can be done using webscheduler and Videolan.
