AACS Master Key

Hi all ( and MS, replicator, HD Authoring studio, ...),

I post this thread because now there is a public " Master AACS key" (for all HD titles) on the web !!!!
I don't know if it's true now (I work, I will test this night).
But I sure AACS will be OFF soon ( with the master key or with SKIndex from some HD player sold
by russian hackers....).


May be Arnezami will answer about if the AACS is OFF or not.


Now, I think AACSla will force all HD manufactory to update the protection on HD player (now we have AACS 0.91).....

This is old news, Key has been floating about for ages.

Whoever you heard this from is probably referring to the processing key. It's not a master key; it can decrypt all discs made so far because they all use the same key, but new discs can use another.

And yes, the news is three (3) months old! Amazing how slow news takes to travel... kind a a misnomer the word 'news' these days!

And since it's so old (plus that fact was conveniently pointed out in my news - that's the news source ever member here is supposed to have read), there's no point in keeping this open.
