My movies are too dark!

hi,

i'm ripping here with Gknot 0.21 beta.

Yesterday, I have ripped 2 movies but both are too dark!
It was also the first time, I used directly AC3 Sound and not MP3, but this cannot be in confict with this darkness, does it?

Maybe, I take a wrong setting anywhere, but I dont know where?

can u help me?

You can set the brightness/contrat within the codec attributs (in WMP: right click etc)... maybe there something has deviated from the default settings (which produce good rips with adequate brightness).

Well..If you have GeForce this might be your problem. I used to have it once, but reinstalled drivers for the most new ones and everything is ok. You can also play with the levels filter in Vdub - it will give you some brightness...
