xvid_encraw in MeGUI: recommended and stable version?

MeGUI uses xvid_encraw version 1.2.0 (updater downloads this version currently). However, as far as I know, version 1.1.2 is recommended stable version of XviD for now.

Is it safe to use MeGUI with version 1.2.0 (i.e. is this version stable and 'good' in terms of output quality)?

The 1.2 branch originally centered around multithreading, but now it also has a number of small bug fixes and speed-tweaks over 1.1 (most of which could be backported, but apparently no one's interested in releasing a 1.1.3). Quite a few people have been using various 1.2 builds for over a year, though, and it's not causing corrupted encodes or anything.
