Deja Vu / Extras/Angles in Main Movie VOB

Not exactly sure what words to search for though likely this has been posted before. DVDs that have the extras or other angles in the main movie VOB come out the other end of DGIndex with everything, including the extras, spliced into the main movie. Is there another utility to create the .d2v with the extras stripped out or different Xvid conversion process?

Hi!

After properly ripping "Deja Vu", you can use either SmartRipper or DVD Decrypter to cleanly extract the main movie only (excluding the onscreen "Director's Commentary"). The main movie is actually the shorter of the two listed "angles" (2 hours and 6 minutes versus 2 hours and 43 minutes)...

Cool. I got the gist of what you're saying and used Nero Recode's "Recode Main Movie" and got the same effect (already had it installed).
