for some reason any video file I play on my windows media player needs to have the brightness raised in order for me to see the video normally. is the problem a codec or what?:confused:

Do your videos exhibit the same behavior if played with other players?

If so, it's likely you have to adjust your videocard's "Videos" brightness setting...

No it seems to be only media player.
