how to resize divx video file

I downloaded the first season of one anime and all episodes are with 1024x576 resolution, but the first episode is 1024x704. I want to resize it to 1024x576 like the other episodes. Can someone explain me how to do this?

According to rule 12 we can't ascertain what's 'best' for you... think and decide...

On doom9 there are no miracles... if you even think about re-encoding, you have a loss of quality... we live in a very lossy kind of movie experience... 1 hour of uncompressed 'raw' 1080p HD material takes 560 GB to store... after that it's a long line of compromises to achieve a satisfactory result.

My computer science professor used to say that 'Life is about priorities'... in your case, crop or downsize... else, leave as-is.
