Just telling us there were "glitches" doesn't give us enough info to help you. Give us some screenshots of the glitches at a minimum. The more you can tell us the better.

If your decoder is coreavc 0.4, which a number of codec packs include, that's probably where the glitches come from. Better to use nero's, cyberlink's, or ffdshow's, which don't have so many decoding bugs.

@recode

Hi!

Since you refer to "encoding a movie", I'm presuming the source material is a DVD:

1) Have you played the DVD on your PC, to see if it exhibits the same behavior?

2) What is the Title of your NTSC DVD and what software and procedures did you use to rip it?

3) Have you played the hard drive rip on your PC, to see if it exhibits the same behavior?

i played it with latest CCCP codec using Media Player Classic and CoreAVC Pro 1.3.0.0.all other movies in HD that I have play just fine but those glitches are happening only on this dvd rip that I have encoded.DVD is ok because I watched the movie before ripping it.Somewhere I have read that I must apply Inverse Telecine on the video because the source is Telecine.Can someone explain me in details how can I do this????

You still haven't explained (or posted screencaptures) what you mean by "glitches", nor have you answered any of my questions.DVD is ok because I watched the movie before ripping it.Again,

1) Have you played the DVD on your PC, to see if it exhibits the same behavior?

2) What is the Title of your NTSC DVD and what software and procedures did you use to rip it?

3) Have you played the hard drive rip on your PC, to see if it exhibits the same behavior?
