I was trying to mux 2 video streams (formula1 race and live-timing) in an .avi, so I discovered the matroska container that gave me this choice that .avi can't. (If anyone knows how to do it with .avi, please, tell me)
I use to play matroska with videolan (vlc), but when I use a file with 2 video streams, it isn't played as I want. I would like to have the chance of choice between see the first, the second or both video streams, but the default matroska output plugin in videolan doesn't allow me to do it.
There is another plugins avaliable?
Thanks.
Sorry about my english, I have surfed every spanish forums about these topics, but I was unable to find the solution.

Try media player classic and Haali splitter.

VLC support for matroska is not complete, so just use Haali's splitter and a directshow player like MPC, ZoomPlayer or even Windows Media Player.

You want to play one or 2 streams at the same time in VLC ?
In VLC it's possible to switch video streams (the same way you switch audio streams). But the matroska plugin doesn't allow to play 2 streams at the same time, although the VLC architecture can do that. The first version used to do that, but it was disturbing as you would always have all video tracks playing. Not sure it's possible to choose between the 2 behaviours from the VLC GUI...
