DVD2SVCD Program

Already having DVD2SVCD installed, should it be removed before installing the new versions or can it simply "update" over the installed version?:confused:

I've installed over existing versions before and it worked fine - the add/remove line in control panel has been updated and my settings in DVD2SVCD have been retained ;)
