I used Decomb's Telecided, TIVTC's TFM, depends the frame one works better than the other:

In the first sample looks like TFM works better but in the 2nd sample looks like telecide won. But there are frames where both filters works equal like the one below leaving those horizontal lines in some part of the picture (see the edges in the face of the woman)

I used both filters with default settings in these images but I play a little with the 4 first parameters of TFM but without achieve any improvement in the picture. I'm wondering if there is any way to set any of these filters so there not remain horizontal lines.

I also tried deinterlace with decomb and leakkerneldeint but looks like it degrade the quality of the picture.

Well there are a couple of problems.

It's PAL Interlaced, but it was captured into XviD (in progressive mode), and has a resolution of 640x480). I'm not an authority on this, but I think capturing interlaced material to a progressive format (at less than its full resolution) is a bad idea.

That said, I got good results just using AssumeTFF().TDeint()

This isn't a high motion source, so its very hard to tell if that deinterlacer will work for the rest of your clip. Maybe post a high motion sample?

It's surely not FILM (23.967fps), so using Telecide/Decimate or TFM/TDecimate isn't the way to go. A real deinterlacer is the ideal method of processing this footage.

Thanks for reply Blue_MiSfit, it's PAL 640x480 and due to my ignorance in the topic it was captured as progresive when the source looks pure interlaced. I't was captured in Xvid due to a lack of HD space but now I set in xvid "interlaced encoding+top field", I'll give it a try in a high motion source :thanks:.
