Has anyone used this program? Their website is DVDtompegx.com I have used it successfully in Vista. I only back up new movies when I purchase them so I haven't used it a whole lot. I do use AnyDVD in conjunction with it. I was just wondering if anyone else has had experience with it.

It is commercial software www.dvdtompegx.com is the site you can get it. I purchased it it was 39.88 or something like that. I used to use DVDXcopy but it doesn't work in Vista. So far the copies I have made have been very good (In my Opinion). Although I am not as much of a purist as many posters on this site. But I do like it.

There is so much excellent FREEWARE available that does the same thing and/or more and/or better, that I wonder why you would spend your money on this?

The best free software imho was RipIt4Me, but that's gone now. Are there any freeware programs like that available?

The best free software imho was RipIt4Me, but that's gone now.The fact that there are no further updates doesn't mean that it no longer works...
