I've recently bought a P4 @ 2GHz with 512MB RDRAM. I've installed Windows XP Professional, because I've heard that they have the best multimedia abilities. I've seen a slight difference in the encoding time, but just not what I had expected to see...
So, my question is if I have to make the neccessary options to make encoding even faster...
I'm using Gordian Knot, so any ideas @ DVD2AVI and Virtual Dub will be accepted..[I want to use DivX v4.12]
