I have episodes of anime in AVI (Xvid or divX with audio mp3), all with the same resolution (640x480) and FPS 23,976 or 29,97, with ~24 minutes each.

I am creating DVD's with 15 episodes (360 minutes or 6 hours).

Currently I have used HC 0.20, to make the conversion of episodes to DVD.

I use the following configurations:
Average Bitrate=1600
Max. Bitrate=8000
ZIGZAG
Matrix MPEG
Open GOP 12
AIR 4:3
Audio Bitrate 128 (AC3 2:0)
Pulldown 3:2 (if necessary)

I use the configurations above with following script:
AVISource(“C:\anime.avi”)
BicubicResize(636,448,0,0.6)
AddBorders(34,16,34,16)
ConverttoYV12()

Go we to the questions!
a. What I am making, this all correct one?
b. It has a better form of if making this?
c. Has the necessity of use of filters in mine script?

Anyone can help me?
Thanks for any help!

Don't make intermediate AVIs as it will lose quality. Decode and frame serve directly from the original DVDs.
