How can I set KeyFrame interval...?

How can I Set KeyFrame interval by registry using XviD release 1.1.2 ?

With old version I was able to do that operation setting "max_keyframe_interval" in CurrentUser->Software->GNU->XviD

But now if I set this key to 25 (for istance) in virtual dub this value don't change.

But if I change the keyframe value in Virtual dub it change in registry also....

Any idea?

When do you change the key? Once you open the compressor dialog in virtualdub, the settings are cached until vdub closes. So you either have to set it before selecting the codec, or close vdub every time you want to set a new configuration via the registry. (Maybe you can snarf vdub's address space for the value and change it there. Because crashes are fun!)

Yes now I can understand why virtual dub was reporting the old value of Key interval... I have to make some test with econding
