Hi,
Coming straight to the point, does youtube re-encode the FLV file in case i upload an already encoded FLV file(youtube format).

I use this 'Total Video converter' tool to convert to flv.

I used the following settings.
Vid=320x240@250kbps
aud=mp3@64kbps@22050hz@mono

I was hoping that youtube will just bring up the video without re-encoding but a small clip when i uploaded was of 1.5mb but when i downloaded the same file found the size only 1.18mb.

Again when i uploaded a clip previously encoded with youtube.com the size was the same(same size during upload and download).

What went wrong, what are the correct settings. Please reply.

There's a recent thread not far below yours that explains that all uploaded videos are re-encoded.
