TV Card Software

I got a PCTV (http://www.pinnaclesys.com/PublicSite/us/Products/Consumer+Products/PCTV+Tuners/PCTV+Analog+PVR+(cable_antenna)/PCTV+Pro+USB) Pro USB tv card for my laptop , I installed the drivers which work fine but the software support is terrible . I usualy use flyds which gives a much better picture and more capture options .

Im having trouble getting the sound on FlyDS, I used "use pci bus for audio" for my old hauppauge wintv usb card to get audio over usb but its disabled on the options with my new card .

Can anyone tell me how to get sound , Ive tried the russian forums and mail but i got no responce .

Any ideas ?

i got the same junk lol

i use vdub to capture as the software that comes with it (PMC)
doesnt support higher resolutions then 352x576 (long dvd).
with vdub you can capture 720x576 as huffyuv or mjpeg to get the best
possible results.

so to capture, i recommend vdub. if you just wanna watch tv, then
why not use the crappy PMC that comes with the card? its good
enough for that and you can use the remote control (IF it works anyway LOL)

Its certinly better than my last one . Ive tried to use vdub but it gives a bsod on my otherwise ultra stable laptop .

Is there any way to get the sound working with FlyDS ?

Hi!Ive tried to use vdub but it gives a bsodSounds like you're using an older version (v.1.5xxx, perhaps). If so, try using any version of 1.6 or higher...

Im using 1.6 , Is there not any way to get the sound on flyds ? its the best app ive found sofar

Sorry, I'm not familiar with "FlyDS". You might want tot ry (freeware) "Virtual VCR"...
